Safety Induction Completion Log
A safety induction completion log records who has completed which induction, when, and what they acknowledged, and reports coverage and expiry by crew, contractor, and location. Kissflow gives site HSE teams that register without another sign-in sheet.
Trusted by energy operators worldwide
A sign-in sheet is not an induction record
Induction is delivered well on most sites. It is recorded badly on almost all of them. A room of forty people signs a sheet, the sheet is photographed, the photograph sits in a folder, and three weeks later somebody needs to know whether a specific contractor welder was inducted to the revised confined space content or the version before it. That question has an answer. Getting to it takes an afternoon.
Kissflow holds induction as a register rather than a stack of sheets. Sessions are scheduled and attendance captured on site against the named person, the induction version delivered, and the acknowledgement given. Coverage is visible per crew, contractor, and location, so a gap shows before someone reaches the gate rather than after. Expiry drives re-induction where your standard requires it.
Because the record is per person and per version, a content change is traceable: you can see exactly who has had the revised briefing and who is still carrying the old one. That is the difference between a record that satisfies a filing requirement and one that answers an operational question.
The sheet is the record
A photographed sign-in sheet cannot answer who was inducted to which version, which is the only question anyone actually asks of it.
Coverage is unknown until the gate
Whether a crew is fully inducted is discovered when someone is turned away, by which time the job has already lost the morning.
Content changes are untraceable
When induction content is revised, there is no way to tell who received the new version and who is still working to the old one.
Expiry is not tracked
Where a standard requires re-induction after a period or an absence, nothing surfaces it, so it happens when someone remembers.
Three process modules
Every module ships with default induction types, versioning, acknowledgement capture, and dashboards. Configure each one to your site standard in the visual builder.
Session scheduling and delivery
Induction sessions scheduled by location and type, with the content version delivered recorded against the session and the deliverer named.
Attendance and acknowledgement capture
Attendance captured on site against the named person, with the acknowledgement given recorded per individual rather than inferred from a shared sheet.
Coverage and expiry reporting
Coverage by crew, contractor, and location, with re-induction due dates and content-version gaps visible before anyone reaches the gate.
From request to system of record in four steps
Capture
Attendance is recorded on site against the named person, the induction type and content version delivered, and the acknowledgement given, captured on mobile at the session.
Validate
Entries are checked as they are logged, so an attendance record without an identified person, a content version, or an acknowledgement never enters the register.
Track
The register stays live and searchable, and coverage gaps, approaching expiry, and people carrying a superseded content version surface as exceptions.
Report
The register is the induction record, so coverage and expiry report straight from it by crew, contractor, location, and content version.
What changes when induction records run on Kissflow
| Process | Before Kissflow | On Kissflow |
|---|---|---|
| Attendance record | A photographed sign-in sheet in a folder | A per-person record against the session delivered |
| Content version | Not captured at all | Recorded per person, so revisions are traceable |
| Coverage | Discovered when someone is turned away at the gate | Visible per crew and contractor before mobilization |
| Acknowledgement | A signature on a shared page | Captured individually against the named person |
| Re-induction | Happens when somebody remembers | Driven by expiry rules in the register |
| Audit evidence | Retrieved from folders over an afternoon | Reported from the register on request |

Built for sites with a workforce that changes weekly
Version-aware by design
The content version is recorded per person, so a revision to the briefing is traceable to exactly who has and has not received it.
Coverage before the gate
Crew and contractor coverage is visible ahead of mobilization rather than discovered when somebody is turned away.
Expiry drives re-induction
Where your standard requires re-induction after a period or an absence, the register surfaces it instead of relying on memory.
A register, not another LMS
Your learning system delivers formal training. Kissflow holds the site induction record and the coverage question it has to answer.
Governed from day one
Single sign-on, role-based access, and a timestamped audit log are how the app is built. Kissflow runs in the business-process layer, segmented from the OT and control network.
Live in weeks, not a program
Configure in the visual builder, or describe the standard and let the AI Builder generate the app. Delivery moves from weeks to days.

Get SupportA safety induction completion log records who completed which induction, when, which content version was delivered, and what they acknowledged, and reports coverage and expiry by crew, contractor, and location.
Because induction content is revised, and the operational question is usually whether a specific person received the revised briefing. A shared sign-in sheet cannot answer that, and a per-person versioned record can.
No. Your learning system delivers and records formal training. This app holds the site induction record, which is a different question with a different audience and a much shorter shelf life.
Yes. Contractor personnel are recorded in the same register with coverage reported per contracting party, so a gap is visible before mobilization rather than at the gate.
Yes. Fields, categories, routing rules, and escalation thresholds are configured by the process owner in the visual builder, and every change is written to the same audit log as a manual edit.
No. Kissflow runs in the business-process layer alongside the systems you already own and connects to them through APIs and integration connectors. It does not replace your EHS suite, your ERP, or your maintenance system, and it does not operate inside the control system.
No. Kissflow AI maps natural language to platform metadata and produces an inspectable blueprint, so every app is auditable and the process owner can maintain it.
