PH Firms Upskill Staff with Low-Code and No-Code App Development
Spokesperson : Rakesh N
More organizations in the Philippines are training non-IT staff to build applications using low-code and no-code platforms to address gaps in digital operations and accelerate modernization.
According to Rakesh Nandakumar, AVP for Asia Pacific at Kissflow, these tools empower “citizen developers”—employees without traditional software development experience—to contribute to digital transformation by creating useful applications. Finance teams are often early adopters. One partner bank now has hundreds of internal citizen developers producing thousands of records yearly, illustrating how non-technical staff can expand digital capacity beyond traditional IT teams.
Low-code and no-code adoption also helps companies prepare for AI by digitizing data and increasing experimentation. Kissflow plans to expand its Philippine team to support growing demand among large enterprises.
