Firoz Moosa, the IT Manager at Jaleel Holdings, heads the organization's infrastructure and security. He and his team are responsible for meeting the organization's digitization requirements and improving operational efficiency.

To achieve this goal, the management team at Jaleel wanted Firoz to identify a proper platform to meet all their business requirements. These requirements were previously handled by a long tail of middle-office applications that were redundant, tedious to manage, and chaotic. Firoz said, “As IT, we were struggling to find a proper platform to cater to all the business requirements.”

He added, “Whenever business units come with a requirement, we realized that though we are using several market-leading software platforms for our organization for our business operations, none of these platforms are capable enough to cater to all their requirements.”

The IT department is one of the busiest and most overworked departments in any organization, with a huge backlog, and Jaleel's IT team was no exception.

Firoz said, “Why we thought of low-code/no-code is that our management wanted to have a platform which was capable enough to develop workflows, at least the least complex workflows, by the department itself instead of coming back to IT.”

Moreover, developing and bug-fixing in a traditional coding environment was time-consuming, but with a low-code platform like Kissflow, Firoz found both developing and bug-fixing very easy. He added, “For a complex process, it usually takes at least three months, whereas in Kissflow it takes 30 days or a maximum of 45 days.”

To illustrate the simplicity of Kissflow and its fast time-to-market, Firoz briefly shared how the HR department has been streamlining its operations. “They were so happy that none of the platforms, as per their experience, once they ask for some changes, it takes one week, two weeks, or one month. Firoz had high regard for the instructor-led training his team received. “Though it’s a low-code/no-code platform, there might be a lot of features we might not know. So, our management also insisted that we go for a training.” He added, “It’s been three days, we are in the training, and we are now very confident to develop the applications in Kissflow.”

The icing on the cake for Jaleel was the quick support that Kissflow offered. Firoz appreciated that Kissflow doesn’t sell and forget.
