Meet the KiSSFLOW Team: Vignesh
September 23rd, 2016 • Kissuகிசு
Name: Vignesh Srinivasan
Nickname: ‘Sambi’ (short for sambar, a staple South Indian dish)
How do you make KiSSFLOW great?
I’m part of the engineering team that does a lot of innovative things with the backend to constantly make KiSSFLOW better. As a software developer, I help the team find bugs and fix them. I have also been involved in developing most of the modules presently used in the website.
What is great about your hometown?
Chennai is free-spirited when you compare it with other cities in the North, where I was born and brought up. Chennaites in general are more engaging and easier to get along with.
Who is your favorite comic book character?
Pikachū from Pokémon.
What do you consider is your signature work with KiSSFLOW?
I developed KiSSFLOW’s present email module. I also worked a lot on developing push notifications for the KiSSFLOW mobile app and implementing SAML in the sites.
Who is the person you admire the most?
It’s hard just to pick one person. Both of my parents and three of my closest friends – Prashanth, Devarajan, and Vishnu Prasad – have had the biggest influences in my life.
What are you reading right now?
Lately I’m spending a lot of time learning about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning on the internet.
From the KiSSFLOW Team:
What makes Vignesh weird?
He has a big appetite, especially for eggs. He lovingly guzzles anything that has eggs. He might say he is full and will skip lunch after having a hearty breakfast of three dosas and omelettes. But he will be the first person to dive into his plate at lunchtime.
What we love about Vignesh…
He is a kickass developer and very passionate about his craft. When it comes to programming, there is nothing that Vignesh can’t do. Teammates admire him for his ability to constantly learn.
One thing that he repeatedly does at work is he will type thunderously on his laptop while working on something serious. He is especially merciless when hitting ‘enter’ at the end of a task.
His ability to crack complex programming issues.
